Description of the Quarter Turn Cannon The Quarter Turn Hand Confetti Launcher measures 21" long x 1" wide and is engineered for simplicity, reliability, and ease of use. Every launcher includes written instructions, and this page features a step-by-step video showing how to load and fire the unit properly.

For optimal performance, we recommend capping and taping the launcher barrel before firing. The compression cap increases internal pressure, allowing products to project higher into the air.

Required Accessories To operate this launcher, you will need:

• One 18" Speed-Load tube or two 9" Speed-Load tubes

• 1" Compression Cap

• Compression Tape

• 12-gram threaded CO₂ cylinder

• 1-1 /14" Lifting Foam

Important Loading Note If using streamer products by the gross, each streamer includes a paper tab to keep it closed in packaging. You must break the paper tab before loading—failure to do so will prevent proper unrolling during launch.

Safety Notice Do not fire metallic streamers outdoors near overhead wires. Metallic PVC streamers conduct electricity and may cause electrical shorts if they contact power lines.

For outdoor use, we recommend:

• 2" x 40' tissue streamers, or

• 18" Speed-Load tissue streamer tubes
  Both options are flame-retardant and safe for outdoor environments.

CO₂ Cannon Lifetime Warranty

At Flutter FETTI®, our CO₂ Cannons are backed by a lifetime replacement warranty, covering any issues related to normal wear and tear or material defects. Please note that damage caused by misuse or improper handling will void this warranty.

If your CO₂ Cannon requires repair, we will service it at the lowest possible cost. To initiate a warranty claim, return the CO₂ Cannons to us for a thorough inspection.

LOADING THE LAUNCHER BARREL

Step 1.- Please insert the gray lifting foam into the top of the cannon barrel and push it down to the bottom with a stick of any kind.  Lifting foam enables our confetti and streamer products to fly higher into the air.

Step 2.-  Remove the caps from the 18" speed load tube of Flutter FETTI® products. DO NOT INSERT the plastic speed load tube into the cannon barrel. (Note: Use either 1-18" speed load tube or two 9" speed load tubes.) If you are inserting streamers by the gross be sure to remove the piece of tape on each streamer roll before inserting them into the barrel.  If you are inserting wrapped and banded Flutter FETTI® be sure to remove the rubber band around each stack of confetti before inserting it into the cannon barrel.  

Step 3.- Place a 1 1/4" cardboard compression cap over the mouth of the cannon barrel.  This cap helps build compression, making the products fly higher.

Step 4.- Using the paper compression tape, take a 5" - 6"strip and tape around the outside diameter, being careful to tape smoothly so there are no air bubbles. DO NOT tape across the top of the cap.

SETTING UP THE TRIGGER UNIT:

Step 5.- Next pull up the lever on the left side of the trigger unit to the horizontal position.  The lever should be in the 9 o'clock position to close the valve.

Step 6.- Next insert one 12-gram threaded CO₂ cylinder into the U.S. Patented piercing unit at the bottom of the cannon barrel and screw it in slowly until it tightens. Keep turning it until it is totally tight. You may hear gas releasing as you screw in the CO₂. If you do, continue screwing rapidly until it is tightly screwed in and no CO₂ is being released. The CO₂ will feel cold once it is tightly screwed in.

FIRING THE CANNON

Step 7.- Point the launcher up and at a slight angle. (If you are firing CORKSCREWS aim the launcher straight up into the air to get the correct spiraling effect as it flutters and floats into the air.) Quickly pull the lever on the trigger unit down to the parallel position with one swift motion. The confetti will discharge out of the launcher into a wonderful display of color and fun!

PLEASE NOTE: The CO₂ cylinder will ice over upon discharge. Wait a few seconds until it is warm enough to unscrew and discard.

Caution: Do not fire our CO₂ confetti launchers loaded with Metallic Streamers outside over telephone wires, for our PVC streamers conduct electricity. If our streamers land on 2 power lines, you run the risk that they may short out the nearest fuse or transformer. If you want to shoot streamers outside, please use our 18" speed load tubes of tissue streamers,  which are flameproof.

RETURNING THE LAUNCHER

If you are renting the Quarter Turn cannon, please save the box you received it in for the return shipment.  Please remove all used and unused CO₂ cylinders before you ship the cannon back to us.

WARNING: Do not point the cannon barrel  toward anyone when using. 

Caution: Do not fire the cannon loaded with Metallic Streamers outside near any overhead wires because our PVC streamers conduct electrically. If our streamers land on 2 power lines, you run the risk of shorting out the nearest fuse or transformer.

Important Notice About Tissue/Metallic Products:While our tissue  and metallic products are safe under normal conditions, please be aware that colors may bleed when they become saturated with liquid and are under pressure. We recommend immediately removing the products if they get wet to avoid potential staining or color transfer. Note: Our neon tissue and PVC do not stain.
