Check Out 5 of the Best Summer Music Festivals & Fairs

School’s out and it is time to celebrate everything we love about summer – bright sunshine, great weather, and the ability to simply hang out.  You can enjoy all those things and more at this summer’s fairs and music festivals and even spice things up a bit with a sprinkling of our finest Flutter FETTI.  So here are some of our favorite summer events and the best ways to party at them too:

Iowa State Fair – August – This internationally-acclaimed fair attracts over a million people each year to the Hawkeye State.  It’s a classic American affair with over 150 years of tradition and features competitions, concerts, fair rides, and plenty of great people-watching opportunities.  Go for a ride on the infamous double Ferris wheel and sneak a peek at the life-size cow sculpture carved from butter!  Then grab some hot dogs and funnel cakes and head over to the hog-calling contest.  This is the one state fair you won’t want to miss!

Electric Daisy Carnival– May-July – For people who love to party from dusk until dawn, there’s nothing better than this traveling electronic music festival that makes its way from Las Vegas to London to Puerto Rico.  The world’s biggest DJs, including Avicii, Tiesto, and Sebastian Ingrosso, put the swarm of dancing fans in a trance with wild light displays and non-stop beats.  As the excitement builds up, the musicians douse the crowd with Flutter FETTI confetti and streamers from 6” Continuous Flow Confetti Gerb Launchers and X-6 Double Barrel Confetti Launchers.  It’s the most incredible scene and you have to see it to believe it!

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival– June – What began as a hang out for jam band fans and folk rockers is now one of the nation’s biggest music festivals for diverse array of music lovers.  Today, this annual 4-day festival presents the biggest names in rock, hip hop, country, and much more.  Add in arcade games, beer tents, comedy, and an on-site movie theater and attendees have plenty of excellent choices.  No wonder 80,000 people descend upon this Tennessee farm year after year!

Cheyenne Frontier Days – July – For a slice of the old West, venture out to this century-old rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Claiming to be the largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration in the world, the 10-day event features bucking broncos, pancake breakfasts, parades, and Native American cultural demonstrations.  Bring some 14” Flutter FETTI Confetti Sticks to cheer on the victorious bull riders and don’t forget to wear your leather cowboy boots!

Satchmo Summerfest – August – The summer lineup in New Orleans is packed with music festivals, but this free 3-day outdoor concert is one of our favorites.  It’s the local version of Jazz Fest and is dedicated to one of Nola’s hometown heroes:  Louis ‘Satchmo’ Armstrong.  Enjoy soothing jazz concerts, dine on delicious local delicacies, and watch the second-line parades march through the streets of town.  If you want to experience New Orleans the way it was meant to be, this is the time to come!
